General Terms

About the program and the parties involved.

Welcome to She Plays She Builds bootcamp — an online bootcamp designed to empower girls to turn imagination into creation.

By registering for and participating in this game bootcamp, you (“Participant”, “You”, “Your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

She Plays She Builds is organized by QabasTech (“Organizer”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) in partnership with Valar.

1.1 About the Event

She Plays She Builds is an online game bootcamp where participants create playable game prototypes in a short timeframe, using AI.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Organizer. Please read them carefully before registering. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not participate in the game bootcamp.

Eligibility Requirements

Who can take part in the bootcamp.

To participate in the game bootcamp, you must meet all of the following requirements:

18+

Age

  • At least 18 years old at registration.
  • Under 18 must provide parental or guardian consent.
KSA

Nationality & Residency

  • Open to Saudi nationals and residents of Saudi Arabia.
  • Valid National ID required during registration.

Experience Level

  • Individual participation only.
  • Beginners or those with basic IT skills.
Important
Employees, officers, and directors of QabasTech and Valar — and their immediate family members — are not eligible to participate.

Registration Process

How to apply and how we select participants.

3.1 Registration Period

Registration for the game bootcamp opens on April 23, 2026.

3.2 Registration Requirements

To complete registration, participants must provide:

  • Full legal name as it appears on official identification
  • Valid National ID number (10 digits)
  • Active email address for communications
  • Phone number for emergency contact
  • Region of residence in Saudi Arabia
  • Expertise level in IT
  • Brief motivation statement

3.4 Registration Fee

Participation in the game bootcamp is completely FREE.

Competition Rules

Duration, game requirements, and allowed tools.

4.1 Bootcamp Duration

Four weeks

4.2 Game Requirements

  • Games must be newly created during the game bootcamp period.
  • Pre-existing games or significant pre-made content are not allowed.
  • Games must be playable and demonstrate core gameplay mechanics.
  • Games must be appropriate for all ages and respect Islamic values.
  • Games must not contain offensive, violent, or inappropriate content.

4.3 Allowed Tools & Assets

  • All game engines are permitted.
  • Pre-made assets are allowed with proper licensing and attribution.
  • Open-source libraries and frameworks are permitted.
  • AI-generated content is allowed.

Intellectual Property

Ownership, licensing, and third-party content.

5.1 Ownership

Participants retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in their game submissions.

5.2 License Grant to Organizer

By participating, you grant QabasTech, Valar and their partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Display your game submission on our website and social media.
  • Use screenshots and videos for promotional purposes.
  • Include your game in showcases and exhibitions.
  • Feature your game in press releases and media coverage.

5.3 Third-Party Content

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any third-party content in their submissions, including proper licensing and attribution.

Use of copyrighted materials without permission may result in disqualification and potential legal consequences.

Code of Conduct

Respect, integrity, and content guidelines.

All participants must adhere to the following code of conduct:

6.1 Respect & Professionalism

  • Treat all participants, organizers, and judges with respect.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind.
  • Maintain professional communication at all times.

6.2 Integrity

  • Do not plagiarize or steal others’ work.
  • Do not submit pre-made games as new creations.
  • Do not sabotage other participants’ work.
  • Report any violations to the organizers.

6.3 Content Guidelines

  • Align with Islamic values and be culturally respectful.
  • No violent, sexual, or offensive content.
  • No political or controversial themes.
  • No gambling mechanics or inappropriate monetization.

Disqualification

Grounds for removal from the program.

Participants may be disqualified for any of the following reasons:

  • Providing false or misleading information during registration.
  • Submitting a pre-existing game or significantly pre-made content.
  • Violating the code of conduct.
  • Using copyrighted materials without permission.
  • Submitting content that violates content guidelines.
  • Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty.
  • Harassment of other participants or organizers.
  • Failing to submit by the deadline.
Organizer’s Right
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion. Disqualified participants will not be eligible for prizes and may be banned from future events.

Privacy Policy

  • Personal identification (name, national ID, nationality).
  • Contact information (email, phone).
